The Certified Home Buyer Military Housing Specialist is a national certification given to Mortgage Lenders / Real Estate professionals who complete and pass the education requirements needed to best understand the uniqueness of lending to military home buyers and current home owners with VA financing.
USA Cares is the only national organization offering this type of specialized training and may explain why so few mortgage lenders/brokers are familiar with VA home buyer loans. Including myself, I think there are maybe only 6-7 other VA lenders in the S.W Riverside County cities of Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Corona, Norco, Chino, Riverside, Moreno Valley area who are USA Cares Certified Military Home Buyer Housing Specialists.
Although already experienced in mortgage lending to Veterans and Active Duty service members using VA financing, with so many local eligible home buyers/owners in Southern California who have and are currently serving in the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Reserves, and National Guard, I felt it was my duty to pursue this rare designation to better reflect my experience and better understand the military’s unique language, lifestyle circumstances, and ranking and pay system in order to become an even better VA mortgage lender.

USA Cares is a national non-profit that raises funds and public awareness to supply post 9/11 career and non-career military service members with grants to remedy the financial hardship caused by multiple deployments or service tot he nation.
